RaceDay is designed for use by small clubs, large specialist clubs and federations. It has many features that have been written into the software to cater for the requests made by the hundreds of clubs throughout the world that use the software.

The details below, taken from the Member Details form, would not be of interest to smaller clubs but would be essential to organisations using sections, marking stations and clock stations :-

The opposite is true for the "Club Reports" menu option which will allow smaller clubs to produce race results that suit their requirements. Please read this user guide thoroughly to help you gain an understanding of which features will be of use to you.

The following is intended as a short list of instructions on how to prepare RaceDay for your first race. We strongly recommend that you do things in the same, or similar order.

1. Enter all of your members details one by one.
2. Enter the Liberation Sites that your club races from.
3. Choose your first racepoint and enter all of the members distances (Quick Distances)
4. Enter the distances in the same way for each racepoint in turn.
5. Choose from the main menu and set up the pools for the club.
6. Choose from the main menu and set up your race types.
7. If you want to try a "test" race, enter a date and a racepoint by selecting Racing from the main menu. Please enter a date from last year so that the test race will not conflict with any of this seasons races, or once you have finished with your testing - run the "End of season Close" - which will clear all races and clock times, leaving only your members and distances.
8. The end of season close will only mark records for deletion and you will have to run "Remove Deleted Records" from the Utilities Menu in order to delete them completely.
